Product Specifications
- Produced from a blend of softwood and hardwood species
- Graded using a chipper and oscillating screen to remove 0-8mm fines and oversize +20mm
- Over 90% of particles fall within 8-20mm in size range
- Wood fibre content of 99%+ Fines content less than 5% (less than 5mm)
- Moisture content in the region of 40-60% (green weight basis), subject to seasonal variations
- The weight/volume ratio (bulk density) is normally within the range of 200-300 kg/m3
- The pH range is between 5.0 and 6.0
- All practical measures are taken to remove foreign matter such as metal, glass, plastic and any other extraneous materials Brown in colour with a pleasant odour
- Durable, long lasting and free from pathogens, pests and weed seeds
