A.W. Jenkinson Forest Products are delighted to announce a new five year sponsorship deal with Penrith Cricket Club as their main club sponsor. We hope the long term support to the club will help develop the standard of play and involvement for all ages; from U-11 years to the Senior First Team.

The deal comes ahead of very exciting times at the club as the First and Second Senior Teams move into the ECB Northern Premier League. Next season they will be playing against the very best teams in the North West with fixtures against the likes of Blackpool, Preston, Kendal and Netherfield.

Penrith CC was formed in 1866, so the 2016 season will be the 150th anniversary. The Club currently runs four senior teams in various leagues and six junior teams that play in the Cumbria Junior Cricket League. Additionally, Penrith CC is the only Club in the County to run a girls team that competes against the boys in the Junior League. They have also started to offer taster disability cricket sessions.

A recently renovated Function Room is available for hire for weddings, parties, meetings and social events. In September the Club will be holding The Sticky Wicket Beer Festival - 50 Cumbrian real ales will be available in a marquee on the outfield that can hold 500 people. There will also be live music throughout the whole of the three days and Frank Jackson will be providing the catering.
